Trump Issues Stark Warning to Iran: “We Know Where Khamenei Is, But We Won’t Kill Him — For Now”

In a provocative new statement, former U.S. President Donald Trump has declared that the United States is fully aware of the exact location of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, but has chosen not to eliminate him—at least for the time being.

Posting on his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote:

“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He’s an easy target, but he’s safe there. We’re not going to kill him—at least not right now.”

Trump further warned of escalating tensions, hinting that America’s patience is wearing thin.

“We don’t want missiles flying toward civilians or our military personnel. Our patience is running out. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

These sharp remarks come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, where hostilities between Israel and Iran have reached new levels. Reports earlier this week suggested that Trump may have previously intervened to prevent Israel from assassinating Khamenei—a claim that has not been officially confirmed but is widely discussed in diplomatic circles.

Trump’s post appears to serve both as a warning to Tehran and as a demonstration of American surveillance capabilities. While critics accuse Trump of recklessly inflaming a volatile situation, his supporters argue the message was a necessary show of strength against a regime accused of supporting terror across the region.

Khamenei, who has led the Islamic Republic since 1989, remains the highest authority in Iran and a central figure in the country’s foreign policy, especially its confrontational stance toward Israel and the U.S.

While no official response has yet come from Iranian leadership, Trump’s comments are expected to spark outrage in Tehran and further complicate any potential diplomatic efforts.

With the U.S. presidential elections approaching, Trump’s foreign policy rhetoric continues to echo his past hardline stance against Iran—a strategy that appeals to many within his conservative base but risks provoking further instability in an already volatile region.
