The United States military is actively assisting Israel in intercepting Iranian missiles and drones amid a new wave of retaliatory attacks launched by Tehran. A senior U.S. official confirmed the development to CNN, stating that American forces are deploying both naval and aerial assets to help neutralize incoming threats targeting Israeli territory.
According to the official, U.S. military units stationed in the region have engaged several Iranian projectiles in coordination with Israeli defense systems. The assistance includes the use of advanced missile defense technology and air support, with the aim of intercepting drones and ballistic threats before they reach population centers.
