U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he will soon meet with his team in the White House Situation Room to discuss the possible involvement of the United States in the growing conflict between Israel and Iran.
Speaking to CNN, Trump said he has not yet made a final decision but prefers to wait until the very last moment. “I have some ideas on what to do, but I haven’t made a final decision. I like making my decisions at the last second because things change. Especially in war, things change quickly,” he said.
When asked what might happen if the Iranian regime collapses, Trump stated he has plans for every scenario. “There’s still a way to go. They should’ve made a nuclear deal a long time ago,” he emphasized.
The former president also reiterated that Iran seems interested in engaging in talks. “They want to come to the White House. I haven’t closed the door to a meeting,” Trump said.
His remarks come amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, where the Israel-Iran conflict threatens to spiral into a broader regional war. The role of the U.S. remains critical in shaping the next phase of developments.

Trump’s approach places the White House at a critical crossroads — between hesitation to enter another Middle East conflict and the strategic necessity to maintain global influence. His “last-minute” decision style may offer flexibility but risks creating uncertainty in a volatile region.
