Pristina, June 14, 2025 – The Government of Kosovo has issued a firm statement in response to the escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, urging Tehran to cease activities that endanger peace and regional stability.
In an official press release, the Office of the Prime Minister expressed deep concern over the worsening security crisis, calling on all parties involved to exercise restraint and avoid further escalation.
“Iran must stop its hybrid actions that threaten regional stability and adhere to its obligations under the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA),” the statement reads, referring to Tehran’s accelerated uranium enrichment and non-compliance with nuclear commitments.
Kosovo emphasized that diplomatic solutions remain the only viable path to resolve security challenges, halt violence, and prevent broader regional and global consequences.
“In a world that needs peace and stability more than ever, the escalation of violence could trigger not only humanitarian tragedies but also widespread security and financial instability,” the statement warns.
The government also urged Kosovar citizens currently in the region or with contacts there to remain vigilant and follow all safety instructions issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, as well as local authorities.
Kosovo reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the values of peace, democracy, and international security, expressing solidarity with all civilians affected by the current situation in the Middle East.
