A shocking case has deeply affected the public in Peru, as local authorities confirmed that the lifeless body of 19-year-old Fabiola Alejandra Caicedo Piña, a young TikTok creator, was discovered near a water treatment facility in Lima. The teenager had been reported missing since early June.
On June 9, workers at the “La Atarjea” water plant found parts of her body placed inside plastic bags and abandoned near the premises during a routine inspection. Police were able to identify her remains through distinctive tattoos, including a phrase on her arm reading “Love me for who I am” and another tattoo on her body with the name “Paula Sophia.”
Initial investigations suggest she may have been killed before being dismembered. There are also signs that indicate possible torture. Additional remains were found on June 15, and by June 19, some body parts were still missing.
The young woman’s family and the local community are demanding justice as the police continue their work to uncover all the details behind this horrific crime
