Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ruled out the possibility of Turkish troops entering the Gaza Strip, according to reports from diplomatic discussions held with U.S. and Egyptian officials this week.
Speaking amid renewed international talks on Gaza’s post-war governance, Netanyahu emphasized that Ankara’s forces will not be permitted to operate inside the territory, regardless of any future multinational security arrangement proposed by foreign mediators.
The Israeli leader further stated that the Palestinian Authority (PA) would not be allowed to return to Gaza “unless it is fundamentally reformed.” His remarks underscore a hardline stance on both security and political control in the Strip, as Israel continues its ongoing operations against Hamas.
