Famous Turkish Actress Shares the News Everyone Has Been Waiting For
Turkish actress Neslihan Atagül, one of the most beloved stars of Turkish television, has officially announced that she is preparing to make her long-awaited return to the screen after an extended break from acting.
The actress stepped away from television to focus on her family and spend precious time with her son, Aziz, who was born on March 6, 2025, during her marriage to fellow actor Kadir Doğulu. Her decision to prioritize motherhood was widely supported by fans, who have eagerly awaited news of her comeback.
Atagül’s last television appearance was in the drama series “Gecenin Ucunda” (At the End of the Night), a production that further strengthened her reputation as one of Turkey’s most successful and admired actresses.
Now, after nearly three years away from television, Neslihan has confirmed that she will return for the upcoming TV season.
Speaking about her comeback, the actress expressed her excitement and revealed that preparations for her new project are already underway.
“This season I will be back on screen. I’m very excited. We are currently in the preparation stage. My co-star has not been selected yet, but I’m ready. Since everything is still very new, I can’t share more details at this point.”
She also admitted that she had greatly missed the atmosphere of film sets and is looking forward to working in front of the cameras once again.
Balancing work with motherhood will be a new experience for the actress, but she says she already has a plan. Neslihan revealed that her son Aziz will occasionally accompany her during filming.
With a smile, she joked:
“My son will come to the set too. We’re ready to live in the caravan!”
Although the title of her new series, its cast, and the broadcasting platform have not yet been announced, expectations among fans are already growing. Many are looking forward to seeing one of Turkey’s biggest television stars make her highly anticipated return.
More details about the project are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
