Fans of the hit Turkish series “Eşref Rüya” have received major news! After the conclusion of the series, the story is not completely over. A new project titled “Eşref Tek” is now being prepared, bringing viewers back into the world of Eşref.
However, there is an important detail that fans need to know.
“Eşref Tek” is not Season 3 of “Eşref Rüya.”
Instead, it is a new project that will explore Eşref’s past and reveal how he became the powerful figure audiences came to know in “Eşref Rüya.”
The project is being developed by TİMS&B Productions and is planned for Prime Video.
ÇAĞATAY ULUSOY RETURNS AS EŞREF
The biggest piece of news for fans is that Çağatay Ulusoy is confirmed to return as Eşref.
Ulusoy was the central star of “Eşref Rüya,” playing Eşref Tek, and he will once again take on the character in the new project.
The difference this time is that viewers will see another period of Eşref’s life.
“Eşref Tek” is expected to explore the events that shaped him and his journey before the events of “Eşref Rüya.”
In other words, fans will finally have the opportunity to learn more about how Eşref became the man they knew in the original series.
GÖRKEM SEVİNDİK IS ALSO CONFIRMED
Another major development is the confirmation of Görkem Sevindik, who played Kadir in “Eşref Rüya.”
According to the latest reports from Turkish entertainment journalist Birsen Altuntaş, Görkem Sevindik will join Çağatay Ulusoy in “Eşref Tek.”
The latest reports also state that filming is expected to begin on November 1, 2026, with the project planned as an eight-episode series.
This is particularly significant for fans because Eşref and Kadir were two important characters in the original story.
The new project is expected to explore their earlier connection and the events that shaped Eşref’s path.
WHAT ABOUT DEMET ÖZDEMİR?
This is undoubtedly the question most fans are asking.
Will Demet Özdemir return as Nisan?
For now, the answer is:
It has NOT been officially confirmed.
Demet Özdemir has not been included among the latest confirmed cast announcements for “Eşref Tek.”
This means fans should be careful with social media posts claiming that Demet Özdemir is definitely returning.
At this stage, there is no confirmed announcement that she will reprise her role as Nisan.
However, this also does not automatically mean that she will not appear.
The full cast of the project has not yet been completely revealed, so the possibility remains open until the production officially announces the remaining actors.
WILL THE ENTIRE “EŞREF RÜYA” CAST RETURN?
This is another important point.
The answer is no confirmation has been given that the entire original cast will return.
The original “Eşref Rüya” cast included several major names:
- Çağatay Ulusoy – Eşref Tek
- Demet Özdemir – Nisan Akyol
- Görkem Sevindik – Kadir Yanık
- Büşra Develi – Çiğdem Serim
- Necip Memili – Gürdal Bozok
- Tolga Tekin – Müslüm Çermik
- Ahmet Rıfat Şungar – Faruk Sezeri
- Ceren Benderlioğlu – Irmak Bozok
- Umut Karadağ – Serdar Güngür
- Ebrar Karabakan – Afra Akyol
These actors were part of the original “Eşref Rüya” cast.
But their participation in “Eşref Tek” should not be assumed.
The new project has a different storyline and focuses on an earlier period in Eşref’s life. Therefore, some characters from the original series may not appear.
THE CONFIRMED CAST SO FAR
Based on the latest available reports, the situation currently stands as follows:
✅ CONFIRMED
Çağatay Ulusoy – Eşref
Görkem Sevindik – Kadir
❓ NOT YET CONFIRMED
Demet Özdemir – Nisan
Büşra Develi – Çiğdem
Necip Memili – Gürdal
Tolga Tekin – Müslüm
Ahmet Rıfat Şungar – Faruk
Ceren Benderlioğlu – Irmak
Umut Karadağ – Serdar
Ebrar Karabakan – Afra
Therefore, it would be inaccurate at this point to claim that the entire “Eşref Rüya” cast is returning.
Only the actors whose participation has been reported or officially confirmed should be presented as part of the new project.
“EŞREF TEK” IS NOT SEASON 3
This may be the most important clarification for fans.
“Eşref Tek” is not the third season of “Eşref Rüya.”
The original series concluded after two seasons and 47 episodes.
Instead of continuing the original story directly, TİMS&B Productions is expanding the universe with a new project focused on Eşref’s past.
The concept is designed to show viewers where Eşref came from, how his criminal world began and what events shaped his character.
This gives the creators an opportunity to explore parts of his story that were not fully shown in “Eşref Rüya.”
WHEN WILL FILMING BEGIN?
According to the latest report from Birsen Altuntaş, filming for “Eşref Tek” is expected to begin on November 1, 2026.
The project is reportedly planned for eight episodes.
The production is also associated with director Uluç Bayraktar and writer Ethem Özışık.
The exact premiere date has not yet been officially announced.
Therefore, fans should not confuse the reported filming date with the release date.
WHERE WILL “EŞREF TEK” BE RELEASED?
There is another major difference between the two productions.
“Eşref Rüya” was broadcast on Kanal D.
The new project, “Eşref Tek,” is planned for Prime Video.
This means international fans may have an easier opportunity to follow the new story through the streaming platform.
The project has been promoted around the idea that every legend has a beginning, with Eşref’s past becoming the central focus.
THE STORY WILL GO BACK TO EŞREF’S PAST
In “Eşref Rüya,” viewers met Eşref as a powerful figure who had already established himself in the criminal underworld.
But one major question remained:
How did Eşref become the man he was?
“Eşref Tek” is expected to provide answers.
The story will go back to an earlier period of Eşref’s life and explore his rise, his relationships and the events that ultimately shaped his future.
His relationship with Kadir is also expected to be an important part of the new story.
For fans of the original series, this could provide a completely different perspective on characters they already know.
WILL NİSAN APPEAR?
For now, Demet Özdemir’s return remains unconfirmed.
This is perhaps the biggest unanswered question surrounding the new project.
Fans have naturally connected Özdemir with the project because of her central role as Nisan in “Eşref Rüya.”
However, until the production or a reliable industry source officially confirms her participation, reports claiming that she is definitely returning should be treated as unconfirmed information.
The same applies to the other actors from the original series.
Their return should only be considered official once their participation is announced.
SO, WHAT DO WE KNOW FOR SURE?
“Eşref Rüya” is NOT returning for a traditional third season.
Instead, fans are getting “Eşref Tek,” a new project exploring Eşref’s past.

The biggest surprise for fans is that Eşref and Kadir will once again be part of the story, but this time viewers will see events from before the story told in “Eşref Rüya.”
And the biggest question remains:

For now, fans will have to wait for an official announcement.
