Israeli forces have killed at least 40 Palestinians in Gaza and ordered new evacuations in conflict zones, local authorities and medical personnel reported.
These recent attacks came immediately after the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran, announced by U.S. President Donald Trump, raising hopes to end a conflict lasting over 20 months in the Gaza Strip.
Marwan Abu Naser, a doctor at Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat, stated that 19 people were killed and 146 injured amid crowds trying to receive humanitarian aid from the U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.
The Israeli military said it identified gatherings near its forces in the central Netzarim Corridor during the night and was reviewing reports of casualties.
In recent days, Palestinians waiting for aid trucks from the UN reported gunfire from Israeli forces, who have strictly controlled the roads used for humanitarian deliveries.
Israel has allowed most humanitarian aid into Gaza; however, the situation remains tense and dangerous for civilians.

Although the ceasefire between Israel and Iran brought hopes of reducing tensions in Gaza, recent incidents demonstrate that peace remains fragile and bloodshed continues. The conflict continues to have a heavy toll on civilians, while international actors strive to deliver humanitarian aid. The situation poses a major challenge for regional stability and demands ongoing diplomatic efforts to end the war.
