US President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Russia, stating that the United States would use “the most powerful and lethal weapons ever built” if Moscow decides to supply Iran with nuclear warheads.
The warning comes just two days after the US conducted airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, including the use of bunker-busting bombs on the uranium enrichment plant in Fordow.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump responded to comments allegedly made by former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, who reportedly suggested that Russia and other nations might provide nuclear warheads to Iran.
“Did I hear that right? Medvedev speaking lightly about the ‘N-word’ (Nuclear!), saying they’d give nukes to Iran?” Trump wrote. “If he said it, and it’s confirmed — inform me immediately.”
Trump further warned that such rhetoric should not be taken lightly and emphasized that US nuclear submarines are “20 years ahead of any other nation’s technology” and represent “the most powerful and lethal weapons ever built.”
He noted that over the weekend, 30 Tomahawk missiles were launched — all reportedly striking their targets with precision.
