An unusual and dangerous incident unfolded on Thursday afternoon in Houston, Texas, when an armed woman caused chaos on the I-45 freeway, one of the city’s busiest highways, Gazeta Sinjali reports.
According to local reports, the incident started around 1:30 PM local time when the woman stopped her car in the middle of the road, pulled a chair from the trunk, and sat down in the main traffic lane, blocking vehicles and sparking panic among drivers.
Local TV station KWTX 10 quoted a police official saying that the woman had steered her car directly into the path of a large truck, resulting in a crash. Immediately after the collision, she pulled out a firearm and engaged in a tense standoff with law enforcement that lasted several hours.
Fortunately, authorities confirmed that no one was seriously injured during the incident and that the woman was arrested without fatal consequences.
